Essential Function:

• Participate in the design, configuration, enhancement, and troubleshooting of Fiber’s core and access networks.
• Support field engineers in the deployment and expansion of Fiber’s state-of-the-art FTTP broadband delivery network.
• Appropriately escalate critical network conditions to Technical Operations and Outside Plant (OSP) staff.
• Configure, manage, and optimize network monitoring and alerting systems.

• Deploy and support public Wi-Fi network services.

• Provide tier 3 technical support as part of the Fiber Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Act as a resource for tier 2 technicians in providing technical support for residential and business broadband services.

• Participate in an on-call rotation with a small team of Network Engineers.

Qualification:

• Proven experience in a network engineer role.
• 2+ years experience with, Mikrotik, Juniper MX and Cisco, ZTE product lines.
